Fat can be used to add volume to the new breast by plumping up skin, tissue or flap. Fat can be taken from any part of your body. The harvested fat is processed and injected into the tissue that will form the new breast.
Harvesting fat requires only a small needle hole with no additional cuts (incisions). The procedure does not prolong surgery time or recovery after surgery.
